The old floorboards were pulled up and made into the new bar top and the tables. The rustic tin on the side of the bar came off an old barn in the countryside just west of Beecher's village limits.

The building went up in 1870, in what is now historic downtown Beecher. A fire closed it, and it sat empty for seven years before the Salmens, Beecher natives, spent months bringing it back as a country-western saloon.
